Ann meets Joan Crawford and Karen Morley as the deranged Howard Hughes hovers. Young Spencer Tracey plays a dopey lughead. Brenda Frazier (the Caroline Calloway of her day) hosts an enormous party in New York City. Someone puts out a cigarette on a perfectly good slice of lemon meringue pie and The Pasadena Post gets obnoxious. All of this and more.
